Privacy policy

The German version of this page is the legally binding one.

1. Controller

Dojo Teigtempel GmbH, Münsterstraße 22, 55116 Mainz, Germany, represented by the managing directors Simon Ulrich Teichmann and Janick Maximilian Suppinger. Email: info@slice-club.de, phone: +49 176 72775561. No data protection officer has been appointed because the legal requirements for one are not met.

2. Hosting and server log files

This website is operated on behalf of the controller by Novosky (Lucas Teichmann, Mainz) on Microsoft Azure servers in the Frankfurt am Main data centre. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Novosky; Microsoft is bound as a sub-processor by the Microsoft data protection terms, and the data stays in the EU.

When you visit the website, the web server automatically processes technical access data (IP address, time, page requested, data volume, browser and operating system) in log files. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation. Log data is deleted automatically after a short period and is not merged with other data.

3. Contact form and catering request

When you write to us via the contact form or the catering request, we process the data you provide (name, email address, phone number – optional in the contact form, required in the catering request so we can call you back about the offer – and your event and request details) solely to handle your request and prepare an offer (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). Transmission is encrypted; the request is delivered as an email to our mailbox via the mail server of our email provider IONOS SE (Montabaur, Germany), and you receive an automatic confirmation at the email address you provided. Providing the data is voluntary; without the required fields, however, we cannot answer the request.

The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed for processing and no statutory retention obligations apply; if an order is placed, we keep the documents for the periods required by commercial and tax law.

4. Bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

To protect the forms against automated abuse we use Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, USA). On submission Turnstile checks technical browser signals and loads a script from Cloudflare; IP address and browser data are transmitted to Cloudflare. No tracking cookies are set. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in preventing spam and abuse. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; standard contractual clauses apply in addition.

5. Cookies and consent

The website itself does not set cookies that require consent. We store your decision in the cookie banner in your browser's local storage (entry "sliceclub-consent") so we do not ask you again on every visit. In the settings you decide for each service individually (Google Analytics, Google Maps). You can change or withdraw your selection at any time via the round button at the bottom left or the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. The legal basis for storing the consent is Section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG.

6. Web analytics (Google Analytics 4)

Only if you agree to "Google Analytics" (statistics) in the cookie settings do we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to evaluate the use of the website (pages viewed, time spent, approximate origin, device). Google processes IP addresses in truncated form in the EU; Google may transfer data to the USA and is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, Section 25 (1) TDDDG). You can withdraw it at any time via the cookie settings; Google deletes the data after 14 months. A data processing agreement with Google is in place (Google Ads Data Processing Terms).

7. Google Maps

On the home page we embed a map from Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited). The map only loads when you click "Load map" or agree to "Google Maps" in the cookie settings. When it loads, your IP address and browser data are transmitted to Google; Google may set its own cookies and transfer data to the USA (certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, Section 25 (1) TDDDG), which you can withdraw at any time via the cookie settings. Without consent you will find our address as text on the home page.

8. Fonts and external links

All fonts are delivered from our own server; no connection to Google Fonts or other font providers is made. Links to external sites (for example Instagram or Novosky) open the services of the respective providers, whose privacy notices apply.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. Please contact the email address given above. No automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Rhineland-Palatinate, Hintere Bleiche 34, 55116 Mainz, www.datenschutz.rlp.de.
